The European Policy Innovation Council (EPIC) has launched a new podcast series titled Shape of Europe. The initiative aims to examine cultural, political, and social developments in Europe through conversations with public figures and subject matter experts.
The first episode features an interview with Polish film director and screenwriter Jan Komasa, whose filmography includes Suicide Room (2011), Warsaw 44 (2014), and Corpus Christi (2019). The discussion covers Komasa’s career in cinema and the broader role of the arts in European society.
The conversation was recorded in Warsaw with Antonios Nestoras, EPIC’s founder, and Krzysztof Bulski, who co-hosts the series. The episode addresses topics such as storytelling, artistic expression, and the societal context surrounding Komasa’s films.
